Alternative Spring Break Trip

ATTENTION!! ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK TRIP - APPLY NOW!!

Clairvaux Farm is a 20-acre farm that does not raise animals (except maybe a dog or a cat) or crops (although they do have a vegetable garden.) Their mission is "to help meet basic human needs and to address the root problems that perpetuate the cycle of homelessness and poverty." The Farm is a place that has grown from the concept of "shelter" to the reality of "home" for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Apply now to spend Spring Break (March 9-16, 2013) at this remarkable shelter, living in an intentional community with other Nazareth students and the residents of Clairvaux Farm. We'll reflect on the root causes of poverty and homelessness in this country, how these realities affect our lives and the lives of others, and what we are called do about it.
Representatives from the Center for Spirituality will come to Reading and Writing Classes on Thursday to discuss this opportunity.

APPLICATION DUE TOMORROW @ 5PM.
